About the Internship

Turf Tamers is offering a supervised educational internship for a student interested in social media, marketing, and digital content creation.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning, creative development, and real-world marketing exposure, similar to training in an academic setting. The experience may be eligible for academic credit, depending on your program.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll gain experience in content creation and brand storytelling, including:

  • Social media strategy for a local service business

  • Creating engaging photo and video content

  • Short-form video production (Instagram Reels, TikTok)

  • Content planning and scheduling

  • Understanding audience engagement and performance metrics

  • Building a consistent and high-quality brand presence

Internship Activities

Under supervision, you will:

  • Create and edit social media content (photos, videos, captions)

  • Capture before-and-after landscaping transformations

  • Assist in planning and scheduling content

  • Participate in developing short-form video ideas and trends

  • Help review engagement insights and learn how to interpret performance

  • Complete structured learning assignments tied to your goals

  • Current undergraduate students (marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred)

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and social platforms

  • Basic photography or video editing skills

  • Experience with Squarespace or similar platforms

  • Interest in drone photography or videography
