About the Internship
Turf Tamers is offering a supervised educational internship for a student interested in social media, marketing, and digital content creation.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning, creative development, and real-world marketing exposure, similar to training in an academic setting. The experience may be eligible for academic credit, depending on your program.
Important Internship Terms
This is an unpaid internship intended primarily for the benefit of the student
There is no expectation of compensation during the internship

What You’ll Learn
You’ll gain experience in content creation and brand storytelling, including:
Social media strategy for a local service business
Creating engaging photo and video content
Short-form video production (Instagram Reels, TikTok)
Content planning and scheduling
Understanding audience engagement and performance metrics
Building a consistent and high-quality brand presence
Internship Activities
Under supervision, you will:
Create and edit social media content (photos, videos, captions)
Capture before-and-after landscaping transformations
Assist in planning and scheduling content
Participate in developing short-form video ideas and trends
Help review engagement insights and learn how to interpret performance
Complete structured learning assignments tied to your goals

Who This Is For
Current undergraduate students (marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred)
Students interested in content creation, branding, and social media strategy
Creative, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy visual storytelling
Comfortable learning new tools and working both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and social platforms
Basic photography or video editing skills
Experience with Squarespace or similar platforms
Interest in drone photography or videography
